  29.     Well, a friend here in Freehold NJ has a 226 with over *40,000*
  30.     rounds through it.  I pulled it apart a few weeks ago and there
  31.     is NO visible wear on the rails!  I was pretty amazed.  The gun
  32.     is pretty loose at this point, but he says it is as accurate as
  33.     the day it came out of the box.  My 220 has about 39 thousand
  34.     rounds to go before I get to that point.  A real chore, let me
  35.     tell you :).
