  18. Since you have a factual reason for wiping your gun  the  finger-
  19. print   viewpoint   is  of  minor importance.  You did it because
  20. you are a responsible gun owner interested in keeping his guns in
  21. serviceable  condition.   BTW,  who is interested in fingerprints
  22. when it is wholly clear from the start who used  the gun?

  28. If the law doesn't prohibit HPs, I don't think  that  they  would
  29. pose  a  problem.   HPs  are, for instance, less penetrative than
  30. round-nosed bullets.

  32. This is a means of protecting  bystanders,  neighbors,  etc.   (I
  33. never  understood  why  certain  police  forces  use FMJ bullets.
  34. IMHO, that's utter insanity for street usage.)

  36. If you shoot in defense, you shoot to stop.  (SJ)HPs are the best
  37. means  of  _stopping_  an  attack.  Riddling an assailer with 9mm
  38. holes is not.
