- [discussions deleted - gist included opinions that wiping fingerprints
- off cases in a home defense weapon could be misconstrued by
- prosecutors.]
-
- I handle my home defense weapon with a slightly oily cloth when I
- preload it in the "readly alert" mode. This cuts down on the oils and
- salts that the gun has to endure during storage - but probably removes
- fingerprints. Is the net.opinion really strong on this issue?
-
- Also - I use factory loads - partially jacketed hollow points (.357
- Mag), would I be better off if I used a more conventional round (is the
- hollow point a problem?
-
- I can take e-mail if the net thinks these are too specific for general
- comment. Either way - thanks.
