- Securing guns in an apartment can be a problem. A big 1000 pound gun
- safe works, but may be overkill for your needs. My suggestion is to
- have one of the lighter gauge, and cheaper, gun boxes *welded* to your
- bed frame. This does a good job of concealing the safe, makes it
- difficult to move or attack with ordinary burglar tools, and makes no
- permanent changes to the apartment. Even a .50 cal ammo box welded
- sideways to the bedframe and equipped with a good padlock is decent
- protection for a couple of pistols.
