- I have a Ruger MK-II (.22) that I shoot in competition. Actually,
- two of them between my wife and I. I believe that I've gotten
- to the level of competence that would justify my wanting to
- get the trigger pull lightened up somewhat. Does anyone know
- what is involved, and what a gunsmith might be expected to
- charge for doing this?
-
- Also, I have recently purchased a Colt Gold Cup Series 70. Used,
- of course. I would like to get some parts "tightened up", as I
- suspect that, while extremely well-kept, some parts are showing
- signs of aging, and hence not shooting groups as tight as
- it is capable of. What parts, if any, should I have replaced?
- (No, it's not just me -- I can shoot it from a bench rest and
- not have it group as well as the original test target which
- the previous owner had passed along).
-
- Thanks much.
