  18.     I just spoke with one of the more credible factory sources the
  19. other day and evidently there still is nothing concrete about when the
  20. carbines will appear. Glock is so media-shy after what the gun press
  21. did to them regarding the Models 20 and 21 that they are unlikely to
  22. give out much of anything until they are pretty certain of dates, etc.

  24.     On another subject, I learned that while Glock has not
  25. officially committed to which calibers the new ultra compact pistol
  26. will be produced in, the Austrian factory recently acquired a "large
  27. quantity" of .380 ACP ammunition.
