  11. My BH and I inherited two apple trees when we moved into our house and
  12. have absolutely no idea how to take care of them. (Calling us "novice"
  13. gardeners is being polite!) The trees seem to be healthy and produced a lot
  14. of fruit last fall, but most of it was inedible due to some sort of 
  15. insect problem.

  17. Can anyone help us out? What should we do so we will be able to take full
  18. advantage of this wonderful resource? (We live in the Baltimore area, BTW.) 
  19. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
