- It is true. The Dunes is coming down. Steve Wynn of Golden Nugget and Mirage
- fame has bought it and he plans on building some "theme hotels". They say
- that the new complex will be only hotel rooms; no casino.

- 1700 employees of the Dunes have lost their jobs. Some of them, the
- lucky ones, will find jobs elsewhere - maybe they'll have to wait until
- Treasure Island, MGM, and that pyramid place (I forget the name but it's
- owned by C^2) open up, probably in 1994.
