- I have just got a book out from the library about the psychology of
- gambling, and in it there was a 10 *10 box matrix describing the Basic
- strategy for hard non-pair hands for blackjack. I have been playing the
- game solidly over the weekend using 4 packs of cards, but don't seem to
- be able to obtain convincing wins over the dealer.
-
- Apparently there are two other matrices describing the best moves for
- soft hands and for pairs (regarding doubling and splitting I presume).
- I would very much like to be able to make lots of money gambling
- playing poker, since I am a poor student, and there is a sexy-looking
- casino just down the road!
-
-
- My plea is for anyone out there who has had great success with
- Blackjack to inform me of the best statistical moves to make when in
- possession of soft hands or pairs.
-
- I cannot wait for any reply i might receive!
-
- Thanks a lot
-
- Rhun.
