- I'm thinking about getting a hingeless stamp album for my US collection
- and I would really be interested in the opinions of anyone who has already
- bought an album like this. I'm most interested in the Lighthouse and the
- Scott Platinum albums. Both of these are very pricey and my local dealers
- don't stock any US hingless albums so I'd like so info before making a final
- decision.
-
- I'm interested in the quality of the album itself (pages, mounts, binder, etc.),
- the presentation of the material (do coils and 20th century imperfs have places
- for singles or pairs, how are se-tenant (sp?) issues displayed - as blocks or
- singles), the completeness of the album (varieties, back-of-the-book issues),
- and overall value/satisfaction/etc.
-
- Also, if you have another brand of hingless album that you really like, please
- feel free to put in a plug for that one and tell me why you like it best.
