- A 5.0-5.7 liter v/8 needs more fuel to run then a 2.3L pinto.

- The carb has a small cutout in the throtle plate so that the engine
- always gets enough air/fuel lest it stall on decell, idel etc...
- I think it is a safe guess that this is a problem that is better
- lived with unless ya wanna buy a nother carb--a 32-36 would be a
- nice one imho
