- The above is a terrible idea :-( When or if the timing belts breaks on
- the Diamond stars it can do terrible things to the engine, bent valves,
- damaged pistons etc. There has been alot of talk latley on the talon list
- about this and it seems quite a few people have had timing belt related
- problems with thier cars. You can pay now or possibly pay a *WHOLE LOT $$*
- later. I'd change it as required in the owners manual and I check mine fairly
- regular (at each oil change). It may be cheaper to have an independant shop
- do it rather than a dealer.
