  12. Hi net-world,
  13. I have a Ford Escort 4-door.
  14. I went for a routine check-up and the mechanic told me of the following problem:
  15. I have to fix the inner tire rod ends since they were pushing on my tires.
  16. It may cause some safety hazard.
  17. I'll also have to have a beaming repack rear (that's what they said -
  18. I don't have any idea what it meant).
  19. Finally I'll have to have the wheels alligned.
  20. The total cost comes to about $200.
  21.  
  22. My qs are:
  23. (1) Is the problem really a safety hazard that needs to be fixed immediately
  24. or can it wait?
  25. (2) Is the price quoted reasonable?
