- I experienced a similar decrease in MPG when I installed Bosch platinum plugs
- in my '89 Civic DX. I also experienced a significant drop in power! If I hadn't
- thrown the old plugs out I'd have re-installed them. I have been told that
- the ignition timing needs to be reset with platinum plugs but I haven't had
- it checked yet. Hope this helps!!
