- If it is the sound I am thinking of, it is caused by salt
- dried on your disc brakes and can be fixed by a wash.
- There is a certain part of the brake which is always in contact
- with the disc, I have heard, and so the sound continues to be made
- whether you are coasting, stoping, or whatever. If the tone of the
- sound is related to the speed the vehicle is going, rather than what rate
- your engine is rotating, then it is related to your wheels and
- not your engine. If the sound happens when you are stationary,
- then what I am talking about does not apply.
