- My car screeches when cornering. The noise lasts about 1 pr 2 seconds.
- But it does not always do so whenever I do cornering.
- I figured out two reasons.
-
- 1. Front disk brake rubbing as the rust gets into the somewhere.
- 2. Bad ball joints.
-
- Sometimes I saw other cars make strange noise even when stopped
- with the engine still on. That noise is not a screeching sound.
- But when my car does that right after I start the engine, the screeching
- sound comes as soon as I pull the car forward. So I think it is
- related. [It is hard to describe sounds by words, BTW.]
-
- Can anybody diagnose the problem?
-
- Thanks a lot. Please email.

- PS: my car is '86 mazda 323. manual. No power steering. Front drive
