- I have a 85 Nissan 300ZX and am experiencing a problem that I believe is
- related to the oil pump. After the engine has reached its normal operating
- temperature at idle RPMs (1100) the oil pressure drops from its normal 45
- to about 25 lbs/sq.in. When the RPMs are around 2000 or greater the oil
- pressure is in its normally acceptable range. Are these the symptoms of an
- oil pump that needs to be replaced?
-
- Thanks in advance for any info.
