  27. Actually, the ad agency structurally modified the car for the
  28. filming without Volvo's knowledge.  I wouldn't discount Volvo's
  29. impressive safety record because of one instance of bad judgement 
  30. on the part of their (former) ad agency, though.

  34. VW's ads a few years back showing Jetta's and Golf's speeding and
  35. stopping within inches of lab-coat clad "technicians" lined up
  36. on a test track.

  38. BMW's current (850i?) ad where the car appears to quickly zip
  39. away from the camera's approach, sideways.  Slick.

  41. And who can forget the famous "Joe Isuzu" ads?  ;-)
