  19. to compare them if you don't speak fluent French and enjoy dry red wine.

  22. Why has nobody mentioned what, to me, seem like the quintessential ugly
  23. cars: the AMC Matador, the AMC Gremlin, and the AMC Pacer?  I don't think
  24. the Pacer is that bad, but other people do.  The only cars that come close
  25. to Matador/Gremlin ugliness are the Buick Roadmaster/Chevy Caprice series.
  26. Pound for pound they may be a bargain, but people buy meat-- not cars--
  27. by the pound.  I was really surprised when I actually sat down in a Buick
  28. Roadmaster.  The back seat is cramped and lots of cargo space has been
  29. wasted with stupid side compartments.  Just amazing!
