- The guy spent about $400 in repairs over 60,000+ miles in his 1988

- This is over 35 cents a mile for maintenance. Can this be a typo?

- I guess we each have a limit to the amount of risk we are willing to
- assume, but three thousand bucks is a heck of a lot, on top of the top
- dollar sticker price people are already spending for the "reliability"
- of a Honda.

- A healthy amount of fear and loathing of mechanics is only natural,
- but.. I bet you could become an ASE certified mechanic YOURSELF for
- three grand, and buy a full set of tools to go with it.
