- The only way that consistent use should improve your compression is if it's
- gunking up in there. Otherwise I suspect that a higher viscosity would
- give you a consistently higher compression than with a lower viscosity.
- You're right, don't use a heavier oil. I know someone with a 78 350 chevy,
- heavier weight oil prematurely wore the bearings. The new goodwrench 350's
- recommend 10w-30.
