- Gee, I always thought that the Taurus was a major rip-off of the Audi 5000 -
- the first "round" one. When the 5000 came out with the new style, it was
- pretty radical. It looks very conservative now, but I would say that it
- started the trend which others, including Ford, merely elaborated on.
