- Well, the BEST way to really "test" it is to A>remove the converter, and
- replace it with a "test pipe". or B>(my way) just loosen the bolts off of
- the converter.

- If you get more power (and you *will* feel it), then your converter is
- shot. They fill up with sulfur within the converter "guts" (looks like a
- honey comb pattern). Either replace the converter, just replace it with the
- test pipe, or "punch" it out.

- Mind you, aside from replaceing it, the other two ways are against the law is
- most (all?) states, and could get you some big fines.
