- the audi 5000 introduced aerodynamics to sedans; the taurus brought
- it to the masses. i remember that once upon a time the taurus was
- intended as a replacement for the LTD crown victoria (!). ford took
- a big gamble that the cutlass ciera crowd would warm to the futuristic
- look of the taurus. (the taurus was so futuristic-looking that they
- used it as the police car in Robocop.)
