- I get about 14mpg, I have 146K mi on it.

- Mine requires that I get out and lock the hubs, I don't mind though, I
- only use 4WD in snow/ice. I hear that the flip on th fly's clutches wear out
- faster. I changfed my clutch at 133Kmi and it still had some wear on it.
-
- >3) Ford V6 engines? Can I get 150K before I need a rebuild?
- Mine, as I stated before has 146Kmi on it. I need a rebuild badly, blows smoke
- on start and goes through 2-3 quarts in a 2500mi oilchange. My wife did run the thing
- out of oil twice before though. She came in stating, "The trucks been rattleing a lot
- the last 2-3weeks, could you check the oil of me?" SHIT WOMAN! tell me the first day it
- rattles or go to a service station!!!! But it still runs well, has fair power, and gets
- me from A to B. I took the car back after the second time this happened.
-
- Mine is also the V6

- >4) 5-Speed Manual trans?
- I have the 5 speed as well, good tranny! fairly easy to pull to do the clutch, lightweight,
- yet not flimsy.
-
- >5) brakes? I tapped them and they grabbed real hard.
-
- I have had no problems with the brakes, I think I may need a new master cyl before too long,
- I don't get the grabs like it used to.

-
- That is about the mileage that I purchased mine at, I have gotten 5 good years out of it,
- and I paid 3500 for it at a Ford dealership. Try and talk him down a little more.
