  15.   I am about to trade my present car - a 300ZX TT - for something a little
  16. more practical. I am considering a 4x4, maybe a 4Runner, Grand Cherokee or
  17. Explorer. The value of the 300ZX is very close to the price of these vehicles.
  18. I have been told that dealers can be very hesitant to except a traded car of
  19. a similar value to the one being sold. Is this correct? Has anyone any direct
  20. experience? If so, is there anything I should be aware of when trying to
  21. complete the deal?
  22.   Also, can anyone (in CA) confirm that sales tax will be levied against
  23. the difference between the trade-in and new car value? Is this also true
  24. of the special taxifornia car taxes?
