- Chrysler chose to buy Jeep from Renault. It did this for business reasons-
- Jeep was still a profitable line. Chrysler has continued to sell the flawed
- Jeep products, and to make lots of money on it.

- Thus, I don't think this fact constitutes a defense. I think it constitutes
- an indictment. That is, Chrysler has had no problem in cranking out what it
- has known to be poorly designed or manufactured products. So now they come out
- with a brand new Jeep, and they expect all to be forgiven?
