- Hey, I have an 86 Crown Victoria with 367,000 and the only major thing I
- changed was the tranyy at 250,000. I still take it up to 95-100 miles an
- hour at least 3 times a week with no problem. The more you ride the car
- the better it seems to run. I took into the mountains and saw those
- little Japanese cars try to hit 50 miles on an incline while I was still
- accelarating at 80+ miles an hour. Americans know how to make large
- engines (they had enough practice). Mine's a 5.8L 2BBL. If i drive it at
- 65 it gives me about 16 miles per gallon and that's with the oxidezed gas
- they have here which you get 2-5 miles lessthan the old formula
