- --A good Audi to consider is the Turbo Quattro Coupe, not the Coupe Quattro.
- For those who don't know, the Coupe Quattro was the newer model based on
- the 80/90 and had the 20-valve head. The Turbo Quattro Coupe is the older
- square-cut car (1983-1985 in U.S.) with, of course, a turbocharged version
- of the Audi five. Very few of these cars were sold in the states.
- However, they have a legendary status in Europe; in fact, an AutoWeek
- staffer named it as one of the best cars of all time.
-
- The Turbo Quattro is hard to find locally. You'll have to look in
- AutoWeek. Also, the '85 is the best model, but the '84 is good as
- well. Both model years have the improved interior and the wider
- wheels and tires (which transform the look of the car). They can go
- from $13,000-$18,000. They aren't quite as fast as the M3, but overall,
- it is a great car.
