- When I bought my '89 SHO used with 68.5k miles on the clock, the previous
- owner was on his third set of tires. The first two sets were GT+4s, and
- were replaced after approx 30k miles on each set. The GAs he bought showed
- little wear after the 8.5k miles on them, and they are still going strong
- at 72k. I can't really compare, but the previous owner swears they are quieter
- and a better ride then the GT+4s, while the handling only suffered in hard
- cornering.
-
- I'd say unless you do a lot of hard driving, go with the GAs. You get a
- smoother, quieter ride for less $$$, and it lasts longer.
