  22. Let me start off by saying that my wife owns an 89 MX-6 and I an 89 Probe GT,
  23. so I have some experience here, and that both cars have performed absolutely
  24. flawlessly for the most part (yes, I'd buy either again.)
  25.  
  26. However, having said that, although the drive trains are similar, the cars
  27. most certainly are not.  The bodies are entirely different and most of the
  28. electrical parts on the inside differ as well.  For example, if the hatch were
  29. a source of problems (the MX-6 has a trunk), that would be enough to push
  30. the Probe into the "worse than average" category.
