  28.   Whether or not Mr. Pierce ever achieves the goal he seeks is beside the
  29. point.  His efforts should not be measured in terms of whether or not
  30. he reaches his goal, but instead he should be commended for the very fact
  31. that he *attempts* to reach it.  This is certainly an admirable trait;
  32. one which I respect very much.  I appreciate Mr. Pierce's efforts to prevent
  33. the propogation of misinformation in this public forum.  I'm relatively new
  34. to the world of audio and I don't have the enormous background, expertise and
  35. experience needed to ascertain what is, or is not, correct in every instance.
  36. Thus, anyone's efforts to clear up untruths is greatly appreciated.  I'm sure
  37. I'm not alone in this sentiment.

  39.   However, it does seem Mr. Pierce has recently been a little hard on some
  40. people who were, in fact, only trying to help.  So I would not urge Mr. Pierce
  41. to stop flaming, but perhaps instead, I urge him to flame a little less
  42. vehemently.  As long as the correct information is conveyed, there's no need
  43. for anyone's feelings to be hurt (and there's certainly no need for anyone
  44. to end up with a "Fisher rack system" :-).
