  16. I don't understand why people are flaming about MD sounding bad.
  17. It's not supposed to be a hi fi medium.  I heard an MD unit in a store
  18. recently, through decent quality walkman-type headphones.  It definitely
  19. sounds better than my cheap cassette player sounds, and therefore it
  20. succeeds at its mission in life.  It's also more than 20x as expensive,
  21. but hopefully that will change...
