  26. I would be the first to agree that Chick has done a lot of great
  27. stuff - his work with Miles and his own "Now He Sings, Now He 
  28. Sobs" are (rightly) classics of Jazz. He went steadily
  29. downhill after that; by the time he started with GRP, he'd gotten
  30. pretty boring. Still, you're right; with respect to Chick, I retract
  31. my original description. Chick Corea's recordings on GRP have
  32. been just unfortunate jazz, not unfortunate jazz-influenced 
  33. elevator music.

  35. I do have to thank GRP for rereleasing much of the Impulse! catalog
  36. on CD. This is a genuine Good Thing.
