  10. I have a pair of floorstanding speakers that do not require
  11. speaker stands.(NHT 1.8's) I was recently told however that if
  12. they were placed on small speaker stands they would sound even
  13. better.  I was told they would have a more open sound to them.
  14. What would speaker stands do for the sound of my speakers and
  15. are they necessary?
