- Check J&R Music World. I have had very good luck with them, and they
- are Yamaha factory authorized (one of the few mail order places who are).
- When I was calling for my Yamaha receiver, I asked them for a price on
- the DSP-A1000, and they said $1150, without any bargaining or anything.
- This was also a month or so ago, so they may have lowered the price
- since Yamaha released their new models.
-
- One thing to watch out for with J&R, though: they didn't ask me for
- a daytime phone #, but tried to call to confirm my order (to prevent
- credit card fraud). Of course, I was at the office when they called,
- and didn't find out about this until a week later. Other than that,
- I had absolutely no problem dealing with them.
