- MCM Electronics distributes parts and such in the U.S.A.; I don't know if
- they do business elsewhere.

- Their current catalog has a "phono preamp" for $12.95; it takes the
- output of a stereo cartridge and amplifies it to line level, with
- RIAA equalization. And it's A.C. line powered.

- For build-your-own folks, the National Semiconductor linear databook
- used to (probably still does) contain schematics of phone preamps
- using their op-amps. Or copy the circuit in an existing commercial
- product.
