  11. I recently saw a "karaoke" machine and I was wondering if anyone knows
  12. how this system works, or if there are any references which give the
  13. standards.  On the machine that I saw, a VCR audio signal goes into a
  14. box which has a switch that can turn on or off the vocal part, leaving
  15. the instrumental part unaffected.  This switch says "MUX" on it.  What
  16. kind of multiplex is this?
