- I recently saw a "karaoke" machine and I was wondering if anyone knows
- how this system works, or if there are any references which give the
- standards. On the machine that I saw, a VCR audio signal goes into a
- box which has a switch that can turn on or off the vocal part, leaving
- the instrumental part unaffected. This switch says "MUX" on it. What
- kind of multiplex is this?
