  12. My Sony cd carousel occassionally exhibits a rather annoying problem, and
  13. I am curious if other carousel players (particulary Sony players) commonly
  14. suffer from the same problem.  Occassionally, when I power on or change to
  15. another disc, the platter does not halt at any disc but just spins forever.
  16. Turning the player off then on several times eventually "cures" this, at 
  17. least until the next time it happens.  Is this a known bug?  Are there any
  18. known fixes?  This player is about three years old, but the problem has 
  19. occurred once in a while for a little over a year now.

  21. Another data point on Sony Amps:  My STR 910 also has substantial background 
  22. noise.  I have not yet tried to screw down the PCB more securely, but will 
  23. do so soon.  (With the amp unplugged of course.)
