- I had they opportunity to listen to the Theol 2.2 about a year ago. They
- are a very nice speaker. Personally, I found the bass to loss some control
- at higher volume levels. If you tend to regularly listen to music at
- moderately loud levels, it may be of some concern. This is only one small
- area, overall the Theils are a very fine speaker.
- I have also had the pleasure to sell the Paradigms. I find that untill
- they are pulled a couple of feet (a good 2 feet) away from room boundaries
- the sound can be quite muddy and boomy. Once again, I'm nit-picking a very
- good speaker.
- I have not listened to the Vandesteen extensively, but I beleive your
- friend has narrowed it down to three very fine speakers. Set up carefully,
- in a well matched system, any one should be very musically satisfying.
