  11. You can get about the same thing from a computer supermarket for $15.
  12. Look for a power strip with both surge and emi supression.  You can do
  13. the sequencing thing yourself unless you really want to switch everything
  14. on at once and don't mind reaching back to the power strip.  Some of the
  15. strips for >$100 isolate the grounds so you can add teflon screws to the
  16. metal $15 strips for the same effect.

  18. Did this with my system that had a small ground hum problem that was
  19. bothering me.  Now I can turn my amp up to 3:00 (with a test tone CD at
  20. -60 db) and hear no hum (there is significant noise from the CD or the
  21. player - not sure yet).
