- You can get about the same thing from a computer supermarket for $15.
- Look for a power strip with both surge and emi supression. You can do
- the sequencing thing yourself unless you really want to switch everything
- on at once and don't mind reaching back to the power strip. Some of the
- strips for >$100 isolate the grounds so you can add teflon screws to the
- metal $15 strips for the same effect.

- Did this with my system that had a small ground hum problem that was
- bothering me. Now I can turn my amp up to 3:00 (with a test tone CD at
- -60 db) and hear no hum (there is significant noise from the CD or the
- player - not sure yet).
