- Will you please, please, please, pick up your dictionary and look up the
- word 'euphonic'! From the Greek 'eu', meaning 'good' and 'phone', meaning
- 'sound'. It means 'pleasing to the ear'.

- If the distortions are pleasant, they would not be *unwanted* or
- *bothersome* -- unless it merely offends some puritanical ideal rather than
- your ears.

- You seem to be reacting to jj as if he is suggesting that there is some
- awful sound in your LPs, and that he's telling you that you this awfulness.
- That is not the case. Euphonic distortions don't sound like distortion.
- They can sound like 'depth', and 'smoothness', and 'spaciousness', or other
- agreeable qualities.

- chance. If I like the results, then the hell with The Absolute Sound [note:
