- Sorry, I assumed some back-ground in electrical engineering and/or
- acoustics.

- If you don't have this background and don't understand these concepts,
- it's best to build speaker's from pre-designed kits. It's very
- easy to screw up your own design if you don't have a firm grasp at the
- concepts involved. The Theil/Small papers are a pre-requisite IMHO towards
- having a "firm grasp".

- Mind you, designing and building one without the proper knowledge can be
- rewarding, say, like building an end table. Just don't expect it to sound
- great. The potential pitfall's in uninformed crossover design, especially,
- are too staggering to even mention.
