  28. Tell me, people, what kind on channel seperation can ANY ( at ANY price )
  29. practical LP system get ??. I will not mention the figures that I have
  30. heard, but they are not impresive, and many 10's of db below that of
  31. even quite cheap CD.

  33. A common method of 'widening' a sterio image is to add an amount of each
  34. channel to the other, often phase shifted. SOME people seem to like the
  35. effect ( it is normally found on VERY cheap tape decks.. ), but it
  36. could not be considered even medium-fi.

  38. Perhaps you can see why I laugh when I read of people who find the 'sterio
  39. image' of LP systems much more 'transparent' and 'detailed' than that
  40. of CD.
