- Tell me, people, what kind on channel seperation can ANY ( at ANY price )
- practical LP system get ??. I will not mention the figures that I have
- heard, but they are not impresive, and many 10's of db below that of
- even quite cheap CD.

- A common method of 'widening' a sterio image is to add an amount of each
- channel to the other, often phase shifted. SOME people seem to like the
- effect ( it is normally found on VERY cheap tape decks.. ), but it
- could not be considered even medium-fi.

- Perhaps you can see why I laugh when I read of people who find the 'sterio
- image' of LP systems much more 'transparent' and 'detailed' than that
- of CD.
