- Actually, my guess is that operation at a lower frequency would
- actually cause it to run _COOLER_. There would be less eddy currents
- losses in the transformer core material, so I'd guess there would be
- less heat. Operating a 60 Hz transformer at 50 Hz would reduce the
- voltage across the secondary, but my guess is it's negligible for this
- slight difference in frequency.
