  12. Ok, I'm a novice to this fish stuff.

  14. We have set up....let run...drained...washed...setup again....drained...welll
  15. you've got the picture.  Ph is 7.0  Nothing in the tank except about 1 1/2
  16. inches of gravel, heater and filter. Filter is outside of tank (10gallon).

  18. My 14 year old son bought this setup a couple of weeks ago.. and we have
  19. done nothing but kill "hardy" fish ever since.

  21. We have made numerous trips to the pet store for water testing and they
  22. tell us that nothing is wrong. "Maybe heavy metals in the water".
  23. (town water).

  25. Ok...drain the tank and fill with spring water (purchased)  let set and
  26. STILL it turns cloudy.

  28. I'm about ready to chuck the whole thing....

  30. Any ideas...or questions that might help indicate what is wrong ???
