- You MUST have NOT understood the post correctly. Benjamin asked for $2500.
-
- There was also a few letters on the end of that price. They were "o.b.o."
- In case you are not aware, these letters stand for "Or Best Offer".
-
- Benjamin would like $2500 for his system. He states that as his initial
- price. You see the post, and say "wow, I want that". You then say to
- yourself: "That is expensive considering that I can get an *EDUCATIONAL*
- discount and only pay $1850". Therefore you send him mail stating your
- best offer as ~$1800. Now its Benjamins turn to decide if that is enough.
-
- Understand?
-
- Not everyone can get educational discounts. In the *REAL* world, great
- deals don't always exist. This might not be an outrageous price to some,
- and the seller always has the option of stating whatever price (s)he would
- like to get.
-
- Make him your best offer and see if he agrees. Screaming about the price
- won't do any good.
