- WRONG!! I can get stats on anything connected to the Gandalf Starmaster.
-
- FreeNet connect stats from Mon. Jan. 11 - Sun. Jan. 17
- ------------------------------------------------------
-
- FreeNet modem connects 788-3733 = 1942
- Carleton modem connects to FreeNet
- 2400bps 564-5600 = 799
- 2400bps 788-4411 = 192
- 9600bps 788-3900 = 126
-
- Total modem connects = 3059 (ok, I know, I was off by 300)
-
- Campus connects to Freenet = 64 (Hmmm...pretty low eh?)
-
-
- The above numbers only reflect the connects made through the the Gandalf
- Starmaster to the FreeNet machine (getting a FreeNet login). There are
- still many other telnet connects made to FreeNet.
-
- If you want it broken down to specific baud rates and parity connects
- that can be done.

-
- If you mean fixed easily by buying new hardware (modems, servers) then
- that will work. Send it over.

-
- Users will have to be educated no matter what type of system they
- connect to. As a support person, I deal with this day in and day out.
-
- Bottom line is that more/better hardware means more money, something
- that the NCF doesn't seem to have at this time.
