- Two things to do:

- 1) (You've already done this) Don't buy new skis. Thieves like brand news
- skis. Make sure your skis look real beat up on the tops. I am now using
- a real beat up looking pair of skis, but the bases are fine. The skis
- were pretty good when they were made, and they ski better than the pair I
- bought new a couple of years ago.

- 2) Separate your skis (and poles) at the chalet. One ski goes in this rack,
- and one waaaayyyyy over in that rack.
