- Mont Cascades has to be one of the worst places for ski theft (probably
- because most people skiing there at night are there for lessons, and the
- crooks KNOW lessons end at 9 and most everyone will be inside for an hour
- or so for a few apres-lesson drinks).

- I had my skis stolen there as well, as did at least 2 other people I know.
- Best bet is to drop them off in the car before you go in after your lesson;
- that way you can relax and enjoy the aprez-ski.

- P.S. Just in case you didn't know, if you have house/tenant insurance you're
- likely covered for the theft (but usually with a $200 deductible). Look at it
- as a $200 upgrade to a brand new pair of skis and bindings!
